Entries received by June 1, 2005 will be guaranteed $200
tow/prize money. Entries after June 1, 2005, will be guaranteed
$100 tow/prize money.

Competition will be limited to the first 16 entries.

Drivers must be 18 years of age and able to show proof of age.

All
drivers and pit crew members must sign liability waiver
agreement.

There is no entry fee for the Combine Demo Derby. Pit passes
will be $20 for all individuals for this event.

Drivers are admitted free with their combine.

Drivers must wear seat belt, helmet with face shield, long
sleeve shirt, pants, and hand protection.

All
combines must have cabs and only two wheel drive units will be
allowed.

Combine must use a grain table (platform) that is fixed at 18”
from the ground. Loss of platform will result in
disqualification from competition.

Combine grain table must have reel, guards, sickle, and loose
sheet metal removed. Combine ladder, unloading auger, and glass
must also be removed. Separator must be inoperative. Drivers
door must be chained or welded shut. Safety bars or shield must
be added to the front of the cab area for driver protection.

Fuel
tank must be mounted on top of the combine, preferably inside
the grain tank.

Batteries must be mounted on top of the combine at least 6 feet
away from the operator and covered.

Tires may be filled with air only, no duals allowed two wheel
drive only.

All
combines to be as originally manufactured. No reinforced parts
or shields allowed, except as outlined in Rule #10 above.

A
stick must be mounted in the vicinity of the driver. The stick
must be broken off when driver is disqualified or unable to
continue.

Combines may be decorated, painted, or offer advertising. No
profanity or obscene materials will be allowed.

All
judges decisions are final.

Combines need to be removed from the fairgrounds by midnight,
June 22 unless prior arrangements have been made.

Prize money/tow money will not be paid out until the combine has
been loaded on the trailer.

The
fairboard will have equipment available for assisting in loading
combines after the Demo Derby.

Hits
are only allowed on the sides or front of the combine.
